The foundation is working across prisons of four states namely: New Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra. Foundation’s reformation activities inside Prison are based on 3S Model of Reformation: Sanskar (Value Education), Shiksha (Education) and Skill (Training & Development).

The foundation ensures adequate nutrition to the vulnerable groups (Children inside Prison with their mothers, Pregnant & breast feeding female inmates, Children of inmates outside Prison)
The foundation collaborates with the medical aid institutions & prison administration for the mental & physical well-being of male/female inmates inside prison and for their children outside prison.
Foundation ensures inclusive & equitable quality education and promotes lifelong learning opportunities for all through its 3S model of reformation Shiksha(Education), Skills(Training & Development), Sanskar(Value Education)
To achieve gender quality foundation sensitizes male/female inmates & prison officials. Various activities, workshops, sessions are conducted outside to empower all women & girls.
The foundation through its programmes ensure that no one is left behind inside and outside the prison.
The ultimate goal being to help them become a contributing member of society and live a self-respecting life after their release from prison. The project offers them a holistic program that helps to bring about a change in the mindset of the female & male inmates and to encourage them to adopt renewed objectives and become contributing citizens of the society thereby achieving the goal of inclusive societies and making all members of the society “walk together”.
In order to reach its mission to Save the next victim, foundation collaborates & partners with various organizations, non-profits, civil societies by building on the experience and resourcing strategies of partnerships to attain peaceful & coexisting ecosystems for inclusive societies.
India Vision Foundation is a voluntary non-profit, non-government organization registered as a Trust in India vide No. 4595 dated August 1, 1994. The foundation was born out of Ramon Magsaysay award (Equivalent to Asia's Nobel Peace Prize) conferred to Dr. Kiran Bedi, the first lady IPS (Indian Police Services) of India, for forging ‘positive relationships’ between people and police through creative leadership. Foundation aspires to contribute towards a crime free society by initiating reformation programs for prison inmates and reintegration opportunities to released inmates for the reduction in recidivism also facilitate welfare programs for their children to save them from becoming victims of their parental incarceration.
